Sequatchie County Deputy arrested, charged with DUI

SEQUATCHIE COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) – One Sequatchie County deputy is behind bars in Dunlap after being arrested for a DUI.

According to Dunlap Police, around 12:30 Saturday morning a Dunlap police officer found Ryan Patterson asleep in his vehicle while it was running.

Dunlap Police say the officer woke Patterson and found that he was intoxicated.

Police say Patterson refused to take an alcohol test.

He was arrested and taken to Sequatchie County Jail.

He is charged with DUI and Implied Consent, according to Dunlap Police.
