Signal Mountain advances, beats Smith Co 3-2
SIGNAL MOUNTAIN, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Signal Mountain Eagles soccer team punched their ticket to Spring Fling Saturday with a 3-2 win over Smith County. The Owls scored two goals in the first 20 minutes of the game to go-ahead at halftime, even as the Eagles dominated time of possession in that first half. Signal Mountain finally netted two more to win, 3-2, and advance to the state tournament in Murfreesboro.
