Smart Still Building Talent Base at Georgia

Georgia is working towards their first scrimmage on Saturday.
Head coach Kirby Smart is anxious to see how some of the new talented freshmen perform in a game type situation.
In order for the Bulldogs to build off of last year’s 8-5 record, Smart must continue to improve the talent base.
Smart understands the old football cliche that the secret to good coaching is getting on the bus with good players.
Smart:”You know I watched a clip today of LSU vs Alabama. We were doing a drill called get the ball back. We showed our team trying to stop them. There were eight first rounders lined up on the defense. All right. There were eight first rounders lined up on defense. Count them. Is that where we want to be? Are we there? No. But obviously we want to get there.”
