Solid turn out at HCSO job fair

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee (WDEF)-  People came out Saturday to interview and test to be a part of the Hamilton County Sheriffs office.

Written test, appointment being made for your polygraph, as well as interviews occurred.

The physical test was another one of the challenges.

The job fair event ran smoothly and had a solid turn out and will be done again in the future.

Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Chief of Corrections Shaun Shepherd says it was good to see the community come out with interest in serving their community.

“Great representation across Chattanooga and the Hamilton County area today as well. Some folks I’ve just seen things for different social media, word amount has gone out. We even had one man come in and say hey I saw this two days ago on Facebook so it’s working that’s what we wanna say we wanna see new folks coming in. People excited about starting a career and helping and serving our community,” said Shepherd.
