Mocs Race Past ETSU 94-84 to Take Early SoCon Lead

Juniors Tre’ McLean and Justin Tuoyo combined for 49 points leading the Chattanooga Mocs to a 94-84 win over East Tennessee State. The win puts UTC, which is 16-3 overall and 5-1 in the league, in first-place in the Southern Conference, a half-game ahead of ETSU and Mercer at 4-1.

Mocs Finish 8th in Final FCS Coaches Poll

North Dakota State University won its fifth consecutive Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) title over the weekend, capping off the 2015 season. As a result, the final national polls were release today and the Chattanooga Mocs were in the top 10 in both for the second year in a row.

Mocs Stumble in 70-55 Loss at Furman

The Chattanooga Mocs (13-3/2-1) eight-game winning streak was snapped in a 70-55 loss at Furman (8-8/2-1). The defeat also ended an eight-game win streak in Southern Conference regular season play.

JOYNER’S DOUBLE-DOUBLE POWERS MOCS TO WIN OVER FURMAN

University of Tennessee at Chattanooga junior Jasmine Joyner (Southaven, Miss.) recorded her fourth double-double of the year to lead the Mocs to a 56-50 win over Furman Saturday afternoon in Southern Conference action. The win was UTC’s 50th consecutive league victory.

Mocs Down Arizona State to Finish Third at Virginia Duals

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga wrestling team split a pair of matches to finish third at the Virginia Duals today. The Mocs dropped the afternoon bout against No. 15 Iowa State 22-13, but bounced back for a big win over Arizona State by the same score in the nightcap.
