Stabbing victim arrives at local hospital
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Chattanooga Police say that a male victim arrived at a local hospital suffering from multiple stab wounds Sunday morning.
Officials say his injuries are non-life-threatening.
Police say the stabbing may have occurred in the 900 block of West 37th Street, and witnesses provided a potential suspect identification.
Chattanooga Police located the potential suspect and say they have detained her for questioning.
Chattanooga Police say the incident appears to be domestic so the victim’s name will not be released. Also, the suspect’s identity will not be released until the investigation is completed.
The Special Victims Unit is investigating, and Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information to call 423-698-2525.
