Suspect arrested in Hampton Inn shooting

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police have arrested a suspect for the murder of Issac Queen on Monday.

He was found shot in the early morning hours at the Hampton Inn on Shallowford Road.

27 year old Demetrius Bynum was arrested on Wednesday in Montgomery, Alabama.

Several agencies were involved in the arrest, including the U.S. Marshal Service and the Fulton County Georgia Sheriff’s Office.

Chattanooga Police are charging Bynum with Criminal Homicide, Possession of a Firearm during Commission of a Dangerous Felony, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

They have not released a motive for the shooting.
