Suspect faces charges in 3 states after chase

TRENTON, Georgia (WDEF) – Trenton police arrested an Alabama man after a wild chase Tuesday night.

It began around 11 PM on I 59 heading north.

Police say Jeremiah Dalton was driving a stolen vehicle from Dekalb County where he also had an outstanding warrant.

Officers say he through objects at them during the chase, including an aluminum bat.

They also say he tried to ram them.

The pursuit finally ended at the Lookout Valley exit on I 24.

By that point, he was running on foot when he was brought down by K9 Officer Hartline.

Police say the suspect suffered a broken ankle during the pursuit.

He now faces charges in Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee.
