SUV and Scooter involved in Serious Crash on Broad Street

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police are investigating a serious crash involving a Scooter and a SUV early Sunday morning.

The crash happened at approximately 12:39 a.m. at 1700 Broad St. at W. 17 Street.

Based on the police report, Bradley Brock, 27 was traveling southbound on Broad St. on his scooter when an SUV pulled out from W 17 St. attempting to cross Broad St.

Zachary Nation, 24, was driving the SUV when the two vehicles collided. Nation told police that he had looked both ways before turning, but had not seen any headlights.

The crash left Brock with a severe, yet non-life-threatening,  injury to the lower portion of his leg.

Charges against Brock are pending following further investigation and toxicology results.
