SWAT Standoff in Murray County

CHATSWORTH, Georgia (WDEF) – A SWAT standoff continues at a home in the Spring Place community in Murray County.

The Sheriff is one scene at a home near Berry Bennett Rd & Holly Creek Dr. Road.

The Georgia State Patrol SWAT team is also there, where a man is reportedly barricaded inside.

We do not know now who is firing the shots.

Two local elementary schools were locked down as a precaution this morning, but that lockdown has since been lifted.
