TBI charges woman with making false report on sexual assault

JAMESTOWN, Tennessee (WDEF) – A grand jury in Fentress County has indicted a woman of making a false report of a sexual assault.

Prosecutors say 24 year old Sarah Elizabeth Suddarth reported that a man from Jamestown assaulted her while she was at his home in December of 2016.

But after investigating the accusation, TBI agents determined that the incident did not occur.

The grand jury indicted her last week of Filing a False Report.

She turned herself in this morning.
