TDFN: Cleveland at Bradley Central
Tennessee Valley (WDEF) – Bradley Central and Cleveland were playing for more than braggin’ rights tonight.
They were fighting for position in their region standings.
For the first time in the history of this rivalry, the Bears and Blue Raiders squared off in the same classification.
The town of Cleveland is only big enough for one winner tonight.
Blue Raiders get on the board first. Hand off to Keegan Jones. Looks like he has no where to go, but he breaks a couple of tackles. Flashes the speed. Breaks another tackle. And he take it to the house 7-0 Cleveland.
Bradley Central answers. They give to Nick Howell, and he just trucks Miles Clabough.
Mercy. Howell scores to tie the game. Then the lights went out on the visitor’s side of the field.
Cleveland fans try to help the cause with their cell phones. They even chanted pay your light bill.
Blue Raiders heard from Nick Howell again in the first quarter. He hauls in this pass from Dylan Standifer. That made it 14-7.
Howell playing lights out as the stadium lights dimmed once again.
Game ends with a final score of Bradley with the win, 27-21.
