TDFN: Rhea County at Bradley Central

Tennessee Valley (WDEF) — Bradley Central and Rhea County went head to head tonight with the crowds in full force!

This game saw numerous defensive efforts from the beginning, as Bradley struggled to score early.

Dylan Standifer tried to outrun the Rhea County pass rush, but Chandler Kaylor shut it down taking him to the ground for a sack.

Then it was Rhea County’s turn, but the Bradley Central defense mauled them at every turn.

The defensive team continued as Stephen Muhonen coughs the ball up. Luckily the only one coming down with a cold was him as he jumped on his own fumble.

This game had the coaches scratching their heads, looking for answers.

The bears looking for some offense, Standifer goes deep and it is nearly picked off by Aulbrey Smith.

After a near pick, you have to think things through. And how awesome would it be to see a running back pass for a touchdown on 4th and goal?

We thought it would be nice too… but Aulbrey Smith wasn’t having it. He nearly comes up with another pick. Bears dial up the play, but it just wasn’t going to happen. Although, it would have made for a nice highlight.

Bears find the endzone enough to win this one, 21 to 7
