ALTAMONT, Tennessee (WDEF) – A high ranking member of the Tennessee Highway Patrol ended up on the wrong side of the Taser over the weekend.
Grundy County deputies responded to a “shots fired” call on State Road 108 in Altamont on Sunday.
They found THP Major Stacey Williams in a dispute with his neighbors.
Deputies eventually took him into custody but they had to use TASERS on him.

The deputies also arrested his wife, Tammy Williams.
They charged her with public intoxication and resisting arrest.
Grundy County Sheriff Clint Shrum says the D.A.’s Office and the Tennessee Highway Patrol Internal Affairs Division are also looking into the case.
