Tennessee Riverpark closing at midnight Friday to prepare for Chattanooga Heroes Run

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Hamilton County Parks and Recreation Department reports a section of the Riverpark will be closed from Midnight on Friday until 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning.

The closure will happen so that officials can prepare the area for Saturday’s Chattanooga Heroes Run.

The closure will take place between the East entrance (near the boat ramp and Fry Center) and the West entrance (near Chattanooga State.)

This closure also includes the trail from Chattanooga State.
