Tennessee Whiskey Festival returns

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WDEF) – The Tennessee Whiskey Festival returns to First Tennessee Pavilion on Saturday, April 18. This year’s event brings even more Tennessee-based distillers, fantastic local food options, and an authentic Tennessee blues musical lineup.

According to Jay Heavilon, Festival Director, the Tennessee Whiskey Festival was created around a passion to showcase our state’s history of the craft and its distillers – some of whom are producing some of the finest-ranked spirits in the world today.

All proceeds benefits the H*Art Gallery TN, a local non-profit organization that gives homeless and other non-traditional artists an opportunity to create art while providing community outreach to other non-profits in the Chattanooga area by supplying art materials and volunteers in a classroom setting.

The Tennessee Whiskey Festival, produced by the Gig City Productions, will last from 6:00 pm until 11:00 pm. The whiskey tasting will last from 6:00 until 9:30, and cash bars, including Tennessee craft breweries, will be available throughout the entire festival. Complimentary food will be available for attendees, up until 9:00 pm, at which time vendors will be selling food.
