Lafayette, Georgia (WDEF)-Lafayette just missed the playoffs last year.

Close losses is something coach Scott said plagued them last year.

Lafayette moves into a new region this year and he expects players like Dawson Pendergrass and Austin Tucker to thrive.

Last year’s Quarterback Zach Barrett had shoulder surgery and should be back in time but other players have stepped up.

Barrett has also shown his excellent leadership through helping his team thrive while he is injured.
