Thieves hit the Gibson Custom Guitar Shop in Nashville

NASHVILLE (WDEF) – Police investigators are still counting the take in a theft at the Gibson Custom Guitar Shop overnight.

So far, they will only say a “substantial” amount of guitars and gear were taken.

It happened sometime after midnight.

Police were called in to the shop around 5AM after a security guard noticed evidence of a break-in.

They later found the suspects on surveillance video.

The company is conducting an inventory this morning to count the loss.

The facility makes custom built instruments.
