Thousands gather in Athens for solar eclipse event

ATHENS, Tenn. (WDEF) – It’s being dubbed the event of the century.

Some people in the path of totality say the solar eclipse was the most spectacular event they ever witnessed.

Some cried, some laughed.

Storm Team 12 Meteorologist Christina Reuille was in Athens where thousands gathered to see the total eclipse.
