Three charged with robbery and kidnapping in Bradley County

CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF) – Bradley County Sheriff Eric Watson announced the arrest of three Cleveland residents for felony counts of Aggravated Kidnapping and Aggravated Robbery.

A spokesman for the sheriff’s office said the victim contacted the BSCO to report he initially met one of the suspects to give them money to purchase medication, but instead he was assaulted and placed into a vehicle at gunpoint.

He also told patrol deputies a debit card was taken out of his wallet and used to withdraw $200 at an ATM.

The victim was later driven back to his vehicle that had been left at a Waterlevel Highway business.

During the investigation detectives charged 23-year-old Cody Wayne Hannah, 26-year-old Lacey Dawn Nicholson, and 42-year-old Anthony Glenn Gann Phelps.

Hannah was additionally charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm.

The victim was treated a a local hospital for head and leg injuries.
