Titans on the Clock First to Start Second Round of the NFL Draft Friday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – The Tennessee Titans got their quarterback without making any trades on the opening night of the NFL draft. Holding the first selection to open the second round may give them another chance to make a deal.
Thanks to finishing 2-14 tied with Tampa Bay, the Titans hold the first selection in each of the even-numbered rounds and the second in the odd-numbered rounds.
So that means the Titans will be on the clock first Friday night when the second round starts, holding the No. 33 pick overall. They also have the 66th pick overall in the third round, part of four picks in the top 100.
The Titans drafted Marcus Mariota at No. 2 overall out of Oregon.
They still need help at right tackle, outside linebacker and receiver.
