Turnovers Likely Deciding Factor For Florida-Georgia Game

The Georgia-Florida game will likely be decided by one factor, turnovers.
Turnovers have not been a problem for Georgia, while they’re killing Florida.
Said Florida head coach Will Muschamp,"When you have 15 turnovers in four games, it’s a struggle to get anything going offensively."
Added Florida offensive coordinator Kurt Roper,"We were good in the first game. Second game we were pretty good in. I think we had one. Then it has been a theme of three until we doubled the three."
Said Muschamp,"You look at Georgia and the one thing that jumps out at you is the turnover margin. They’re plus thirteen. They’ve only had four turnovers on the entire season. That’s the reason why they are where they are."
Said Georgia quarterback Hutson Mason,"We’re number one in the country in turnover margin. Top three in the SEC in penalties. We feel like we have a really good shot every year if we don’t beat ourselves."
Said Muschamp,"We’ve got to take care of the football is the number one thing our team needs to do right now. If we’re able to do that, we’ll give ourselves a chance to win."
Georgia turned over their defensive coaching staff, and Muschamp says the Dawgs look different under new coordinator Jeremy Pruitt.
"They haven’t given up many big plays. That’s probably as much as anything from last year. They were very young on the back end. They gave up some big plays. I haven’t seen that as much."
Georgia has won the last three against the Gators.
Reporter-"Maybe for some of the seniors who haven’t beat them. Do you think this means a lot to them?"
Said Muschamp,"Our guys understand the importance of this game to the University of Florida. That’s enough said for it."
Said Georgia head coach Mark Richt,"Are you hustling? Are we playing hard? Are you playing physical? Are we playing with a lot of heart? Those are the things we can control. That’s what we focus on."
