Uber Eats food delivery comes to Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – People in Chattanooga can now get food delivery at Uber speed.

Today Uber Eats launched in the Scenic City.

Customers can place their orders on the Uber Eats App. The average delivery time will be around 35 minutes.

More than 70 restaurants are participating, including Champy’s Chicken.

The general manager says this will be convenient for their customers, especially during the construction in front of their restaurant on ML King Boulevard.

Corrie Hill told us “This whole street is going to be blocked off. It is going to be about 45 days, so it is going to be limited access to our store. So everyone who can use Uber Eats will have a chance to still get their food.”

Uber Eats is available globally in more than 200 cities.
