UPDATE: Second Engine Found from Murray County Plane Crash

Murray County, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Murray County Sheriff’s Office says investigators have found the second engine from a plane that crashed this past weekend.

Sheriff Gary Langford said the engine was found this morning 150 feet northeast of the crash site.

The crash happened Saturday, July 1st, during severe storms in the area, killing four people, including two 10-year-old children.

Langford said witnesses reported the twin engine Piper fell apart in the air. Investigators say the plane was personally owned and could hold up to 5 passengers.
