Vietnam Veterans join ‘In Memory Program’

CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF) – Arvel Clabough Jr. of Cleveland joins over 400 other Vietnam veterans as they are inducted to the In Memory Program.

Since his life was cut short because of their service, he’s not eligible for inscription on ‘The Wall’ in Washington D.C.

His cousin, Steve Stewart, remembers him fondly.

He says “We had a Veteran’s Assistance fund. He’d help out quite a bit; deliver baskets, food at Christmas time to Veteran’s.”

Over 28,000 veterans have been inducted to ‘In Memory’ since 1999.
