Volkswagen Academy program for High School students
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – High school students have another option to get a high paying job.
Chattanooga State Community College is teaming up the Hamilton County Department of Education and Volkswagen Chattanooga for a special program.
It’s for High School students during their final 2 years of school.
As part of the program, they earn more than 40 credit hours towards a degree in Mechatronics.
That could help the students eventually land a job at the local Volkswagen plant.
The program takes place at the Volkswagen Academy, which is located at both Chattanooga State and the local plant.
