Volkswagen Gets Another Major Supplier

CHATTANOOGA, TN. (WDEF-TV) – The Volkswagen plant at Enterprise South has lured another major supplier to Chattanooga, and this one brings with it up to 300 new jobs.
The Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce Thursday morning hosted a news conference for Plastic Omnium of France and HTI Employment Solutions.
The staffing agency is beginning the process of hiring the original staff for the plant.
Ground breaking was held in September on land near the V-W plant.
It’s scheduled to be in operation by late 20-15.
H-T-I is looking for asssembly, paint line and injection molding employees.
They’ll start at $12.45 an hour.

HTI will hold its first job fair at the Hamilton Place Embassy Suites on Thursday, November 20 from 10:00 am until 7:00 pm.
