Vols Still Working on Game Plan For Satellite Camps

The Vols Big Orange Caravan kicked off Wednesday in Atlanta at the College Football Hall of Fame.
No doubt Coach Jones hopes to be back in Atlanta the first of December for the SEC Championship game.
One of the hot topics for Jones during the caravan stop was satellite camps.
The NCAA recently lifted the ban on having the off-campus events.
But Jones says Tennessee will not go overboard with the camps.
Said Jones-“There are a couple of things that are lost in this conversation. First of all perspective student-athletes, whatever age group they are, have so many other things going on in their lives too. Some areas there are as many as 15 to 20 camps. How do they determine which camps they are going to? You also get into the price of camps.”
Jones added he prefers to get the perspective student-athletes on campus as opposed to seeing them during a satellite camp.
