Vols Trying to Stay Positive After Unexpected Three Game Losing Streak

The Vols season of promise appears to be a distant memory.
A three game losing streak has Tennessee down in the dumps.
Perhaps most troubling was a seeming lack of effort in the upset loss to South Caroline on Saturday, even though UT was still in the thick of the SEC East race.
Tennessee still has an outside shot at the division title, and they promise to regroup and bounce back.
Said head coach Butch Jones:”We can’t lose our season or leave our season in Columbia, South Carolina either. There’s a lot of football left to be played. That’s why we are going to continue to be positive.”
Said linebacker Darrin Kirkland, Jr:”When a lot of things are going bad, we really just have to keep the positivity up. I feel like that’s a major point for us this week and for it to continue on for the rest of the season.”
Reporter:”Where is the confidence level of this team right now?”
Said offensive lineman Brett Kendrick:”I think we’re still a confident team. We beat Florida and Georgia both back-to-back. So I don’t see any reason for us not to be confident.”
The Vols host Tennessee Tech for homecoming on Saturday at 4pm.
