Volunteer Call: Help Put on This Year’s Riverbend

Chattanooga (WDEF) – Our Do The Right Thing Volunteer Call this week is for the upcoming Riverbend Festival.

The city’s top music festival couldn’t happen each year without the contribution of 1400 volunteers who help out with parking, the stages, and dozens of other jobs behind the scenes.

The Festival offers some incentives.

If you volunteer for at least two 5 hour shifts, you will get free admission, VIP parking, souvenir discounts and, of course, that Riverbend Volunteer T-shirt.

But you’ve got to apply by May 31st.

You need to fill out a volunteer registration form that you can find at the Riverbend website.

Once a month, we honor volunteers who go the extra mile in our area with our Do The Right Thing Award.

You can nominate someone for the award here on the Do The Right Thing page at WDEF.com
