Volunteer Call: The Caring Place Looking for College Students in Cleveland

Cleveland, TN (WDEF) – Each Thursday, we honor a local volunteer with our Do The Right Thing award.

You can nominate someone here at the site.

Each week, we also give a Volunteer Call for local organizations that could use some help.

This week, the call is for students at Lee University and Cleveland State on behalf of The Caring Place.

The organization is an ecumenical Christian, non-profit organization.

The Caring Place’s goal is to model the love of Christ by addressing the basic spiritual, physical, and special needs of people in Bradley County, Tennessee.

The job isn’t tough.

They are looking for a student to help them with their clothing program.

You would the donors drop off clothing, sort the donations, and distribute them at registered Caring Place Families.

They need people for a couple of hours, twice a week.

The next opportunity will be on Friday.

You can sign up to help here.
