Walker County Sheriff’s Deputies make arrest for car and outbuilding burglaries

ROSSVILLE, Georgia (WDEF) – Walker County Sheriff’s Deputies make an arrest for a string of burglaries in the Mountain View Subdivision in Rossville.
Sheriff Steve Wilson says 20-year-old Trent Jackson stole several items from cars.
He says Jackson also broke into an outbuilding in the area and stole a Sig Sauer handgun, a full set of golf clubs, a laptop computer and a diesel engine programmer.
Sheriff Steve Wilson of Walker County said, “On April the sixth of this year, a twenty year old suspect, Trent Jackson of Hurt Road in Chickamauga was interviewed, and pursuant to that interview a search warrant was conducted at his residence, and many of the items that were stolen from the vehicles in Mountain View subdivision were recovered.”
Sheriff Wilson said all of the items were recovered and will be turned back to the rightful owners soon.
Jackson was booked into the Walker County jail.
