Walker County Teacher Charged With Aggravated Assault

WALKER COUNTY, Ga. (WDEF) – A Walker county teacher has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault.

The Walker County Sheriff’s department says 48-year-old Robert Samuel Forester was charged with choking a woman with his hands on Saturday.

Forester is a math, science teacher and coach at LaFayette High School.

The education department says Forester turned himself in on Sunday,

Their news release says it was apparently a personal matter unrelated to his position with the Walker County Schools.
