Weather in the Classroom Visits Black Fox Elementary

Weather in the Classroom made a visit to Black Fox Elementary in Cleveland this morning.

Meteorologist Bekah Birdsall had lots of fun teaching the third grade class about severe weather, weather safety, and experiments they can try at home.

The students are in their first introductory unit on weather.

So, they had lots of questions about tornadoes and different weather scenarios.

Their Teacher, Ms. Bailey said it’s very important for these kids to learn about weather early on.

“We have to be prepared when weather comes our way to know how to take shelter, and we want our boys and girls to be prepared for the danger. We thought it’d be a wonderful opportunity for them to meet a real meteorologist,” says Bailey.

Teachers, if you would like weather in the classroom to visit your students either virtually or in person, go HERE.
