Victim in double shooting last week has died

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – A victim of a shooting last week has died from her injuries.

32 year old Bernice Williams was one of the victims in the double shooting on West Main Street Court on Tuesday.

Police arrived on the scene just after midnight on Monday night.

They found two people had been shot, one seriously and one with non-life-threatening wounds.

Two days later, police announced they had arrested Robert Orr for the shooting.

One of those counts will now be upgraded from First Degree Murder.
