Woman hospitalized after being stabbed with a meat fork

MEMPHIS (WVLT/WREG) – A man has been arrested after he allegedly attacked a family member with a two-pronged meat fork.

Carlos Brown was arrested late Friday night and charged with aggravated assault.

Officers were called to Methodist North Hospital around 9 p.m. where they spoke with a woman who had been brought in by her husband.

The victim told investigators Brown took a two-pronged meat fork and stabbed her in the back.

Doctors later sent the victim to the Regional Medical Center in critical condition.

It’s unclear what lead up to the attack.
