Officer Hurt in Chattanooga Terror Attack Gets Promoted
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — A hero in the July 2015 terror attack in Chattanooga gets a big Christmas present this weekend – a promotion.
Dennis Pedigo with the Chattanooga police department is now a Sergeant.
Pedigo had his new badge pinned on by his dad, who Chief Fred Fletcher says was the first Sergeant Pedigo.
Dennis Pedigo was wounded by the gunman in the military recruiting center shooting, after a rifle round went through his leg.
