Memorial for Kevin West
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – A celebration of life was held for a local legend Sunday.
Kevin West passed away tragically on September 18th due to a medical emergency.
On Sunday, his friends and family gathered in his honor to celebrate his life and his impact.
Stories were shared from his fellow colleagues in the radio industry… shipmates in the U-S Navy… and officers in the Chattanooga Police Department.
His family also shared words of his commitment and love for the Chattanooga community.
His daughter, Becky Mercer, said, “What an indescribable, brutal, and gorgeous gift. This ripple of people that were impacted by his life.”
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donate funds to the sea cadets, bridge refugee services, or the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs.
