Chattanooga man arrested for 2021 homicide
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Chattanooga Police recently made an arrest in relation to a 2021 homicide.
Officers with the Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) arrested Sadik Spence, 27, on Monday for the killing of Omar Escobar.
Authorities charged Spence with first degree murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony. They booked him into the Hamilton County Jail.
Police believe that Spence shot and killed Omar Escobar outside his home on North Willow Street on September 27, 2021. It happened just before midnight on that day, two years ago.
Officers had pronounced Escobar dead on the scene. He was 20 years old.
