Murray County Health Dept. closing for repairs

UPDATE (Jan. 3):

CHATSWORTH, Ga. (WDEF) — The Murray County Health Department is still closed with plumbing issues.

They announced on Wednesday that they will remain closed on Thursday, January 4 as well.

The health department made this statement and apology for the extended closure:

“We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s patience as this work is being completed. We will make an immediate announcement when the health department in Murray County is ready to reopen.”

UPDATE (Jan. 2):

CHATSWORTH, Ga. (WDEF) — The Murray County Health Department is remaining closed for a little longer due to plumbing issues.

They announced on Tuesday, January 2 that there are additional plumbing repairs to be made.

The health department will be closed on Wednesday, January 3.

They anticipate a reopening date of Thursday, January 4.

However, the public can check their website for updates.

EARLIER (Dec. 28):

CHATSWORTH, Ga. (WDEF) — The Murray County Health Department is closing soon for repairs.

It will be closed to the public on Friday, December 29 for plumbing repairs.

The health department will remain closed for New Years as well.

They plan to reopen on Tuesday, January 2.
