Georgia’s 14th congressional district candidates holds debate
Two democratic challengers are gearing up for a runoff in Georgia’s 14th congressional district. Both Blalock and Harris have been meeting voters and sharing their vision for a better Georgia.
“But at the end of the day, this is all about talking to the people directly and at the same time preparing for the runoff election, which I’m happy to be in, and preparing to beat Taylor Greene which is something I know I can do.” said candidate Shawn Harris
Candidate Shawn Harris speaks on the changes he wants to see if he is elected.
“At the end of the day I’m here to bring jobs to northwest Georgia, make sure I take care of our veterans, have affordable housing and outstanding healthcare.” said Harris
Clarence Blalock talked about his experience in bringing voters out to the polls and his desire to beat Marjorie Taylor Greene.
“I can run a very efficient campaign, I actually brought out voters that do not come normally they come out for the primary. We’re going to reach the voters who we call low propensity voters that don’t normally come out we can reach them,” said Blalock
The run-off election is scheduled for June 18th, and the winner will go head-to-head with representative Greene in November.
