Georgia Physicians to Run a Mobile Billboard at Duluth Trump Rally

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – As the Presidential Election is coming at fast speed, individuals are using their voices in various different forms to bring awareness and share of possible changes that may be to come.

In this instance, Georgia Physicians are planning on running a mobile billboard at the rally that Donald Trump is holding in Duluth, Georgia to put the warning that Trump could potentially ban abortions nationally.

The physicians are expected to share the state abortion bans that have occurred during Trump’s presidency that are impacting patients and how his current plans on abortion, the Affordable Care Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act could further harm healthcare for women.

As of October 7, 2024, 13 states ban abortion. Other states have gestational limits, including: 6–12 weeks LMP in 6 states, 15–22 weeks LMP in 5 states, at or near viability in 17 states, and no gestational limits in 9 states and DC.

In Tennessee, all abortion, no matter the gestational age, is currently banned and in Georgia, abortion after a heartbeat is detected, around 6 weeks, is currently banned.
