Tiny new friends at the Chattanooga Zoo

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Exciting update for all you animal lovers out there. The Chattanooga Zoo has some new residents—and they’re already stealing hearts.

The zoo has welcomed not one, but four new fennec foxes to its family. Known for their distinctive, oversized ears and adorable demeanor, these desert dwellers are already becoming a big hit with visitors.

The four fennec foxes—Daisy, Max, Gus, and Quinn —were introduced as part of the zoo’s efforts to promote conservation and education. These animals, native to the deserts of North Africa, are specially adapted to thrive in arid conditions.

The four foxes were all born in the same litter just about 8 months ago and all weigh around 2.5 pounds.

Such an adorable addition. If you haven’t been to the Zoo lately, now might be the perfect time to visit.
