UPDATE: Cleveland armed robbery suspects caught

UPDATE: Cleveland Police arrest the two armed robbery suspects.

Officers checked nearby residences and businesses for suspect information.

A concerned citizen told police they had seen two men that looked like the suspects get out of a car in a nearby business parking lot.

Officers found the vehicle and determined that it was stolen.

They waited until the suspects returned and arrested them.

39-year-old Ricky Lee Verner is charged with Aggravated Robbery and Theft over $1000.

They still had property that was stolen on them.

Cleveland, TN (WDEF) – Cleveland Police need your help to find the suspects involved in an armed robbery at Presswood Antiques on North Ocoee Street Monday afternoon.

The victim and other witnesses say there were two male suspects.

One was around 40-years-old wearing a backpack, and the other around 20-years-old wearing a hat.

Police say the suspects were armed with a black handgun and a taser.

The suspects left the area on foot and were last seen walking toward the VFW off of Ocoee Street.
