Bacon Fans Flock to BaCON
CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF) – The smell of sizzling bacon is drawing crowds today at the Tri-State Exhibition Center in Cleveland, Tennessee, where the 7th annual BaCON Festival is officially underway.
Running from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., this family-friendly event celebrates all things bacon, featuring dozens of Southern food vendors putting a creative spin on the beloved breakfast staple.
From bacon-wrapped delicacies to sweet-and-savory treats, there’s something for every palate.
Beyond the food, festival goers can enjoy live music, games, and a variety of competitions throughout the day.
For families, there’s a dedicated kids’ zone with bounce houses, trampoline jumps, pony rides, face painting, and even a petting zoo.
Admission is just five dollars, and children three and under get in free, making it an affordable way to spend the holiday weekend.
Organizers say they’re expecting thousands of visitors before the day is done, making BaCON one of the region’s most anticipated events of the season.
