Operation Outreach hosts 2025 Veterans Appreciation Banquet
ROCK SPRING, Ga. (WDEF) — Don’t forget to mark your calendars, because Operation Outreach is inviting the community to honor those who’ve served our nation.
The organization will host the 2025 Veterans Appreciation Banquet on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 6 p.m. inside the Walker County Civic Center, located at 10052 North Highway 27 in Rock Spring, Georgia.
This year’s theme focuses on honoring the brave, because we are free.
The evening will include dinner, dessert, live music, a guest speaker, and door prizes, all designed to celebrate and thank the men and women who have worn our country’s uniform.
Admission is free for all veterans and active-duty service members, which includes a meal, while non-veterans may attend for $15.
All funds raised will go directly toward providing meals for veterans.
Operation Outreach is also seeking table sponsors and door prize donations to help make the evening special. Sponsorship levels include Bronze ($150), Silver ($250), Gold ($350), and Platinum ($500).
Tine Groce, head of Operation Outreach and an Air Force Desert Storm veteran, says the event is about reminding veterans they’re never forgotten.
“This is the time to come out if you are a veteran to be honored. No veteran needs to be left behind. We want to continue to love on you, honor you, and show that our county and community support you—this is your day,” Groce said.
All attendees must register by November 3rd by calling or texting (423) 760-6555.
Those interested in sponsoring or donating can reach out at (423) 421-1081 or (423) 760-6555.
The banquet is a politically unbiased event and aims to bring the community together in gratitude for the sacrifices made by America’s heroes.
