Colorado Declines Bradley Co. Offer in Search for Joseph Keller

Cleveland (WDEF) – The Sheriff of Conejos County in Colorado has declined an offer of help from Bradley County.

Sheriff Eric Watson had offered to send a Special Response Team and other resources to help in the search for Joseph Keller.

The 19 year old from Cleveland disappeared while hiking in Colorado a couple of weeks ago.

Colorado officials have suspended their search, citing a lack of progress and resources.

Sheriff Watson continues to stay in touch by phone and is following up leads in our area.

He says "We stand ready to assist Colorado officers in any way they see fit."

"Joseph Keller and his family are in our thoughts and prayers."
