Tennessee Republican Party removes six candidates from the Primary ballot in May
The Tennessee Republican Party has removed six candidates from the Primary ballot in May.
That means they cannot run as Republicans.
In Hamilton County, School Board Candidate Thomas Marshall is off the ballot for the third district.
Three Bradley County candidates have also been dropped off the Republican ballot.
They are Bradley Griffith for County Mayor, Ron Dalfee for Commission and Daniel Stinnett for School Board.
A pair of Meigs County candidates have also been dropped.
They are Joseph Holde for the Commission and Heather Rogers for Trustee.
The party requires all of their candidates to be registered voters, to go to party meetings and to have voted in three of the last four primaries.
Otherwise, they must get a waiver.
The party announced the waiver rejections over the weekend.
