Ridgeland Military Expo

Some students in North Georgia may end up saving lives, or serving the community in the future.
They are getting ideas during the 1st Responders and Military Expo.
Leaders from local law enforcement, fire departments, and the military all came to Ridgeland High school for the event.
It’s a chance to showcase jobs that the students may want to pursue.
Glen Brown is the Principal at Ridgeland High School.
"A huge turnout from our first responders with the Walker County Sheriff’s Department, Georgia State Patrol, Erlanger Medical Services, our Fire Departments and ambulances. As well as our National Guard, Army Reserves, Navy, Air Force and Marine recruiters as well, that were here to share some information with the kids and give them a great glimpse of future career opportunities."
Students from several Elementary and Middle Schools also took part in the event.
