Vols With a Chance to Make it a November to Remember

They remember what you do in November.
That’s a familiar refrain in college football.
And if Tennessee beats rival Vanderbilt on Saturday, they’ll go undefeated in November for the first time in five years.

Tennessee enters their regular season finale on a four game winning streak. Not a cause for a big celebration, but it’s a big deal for a program hungry to get back on top.
Said safety Brian Randolph-"I don’t think I’ve ever had a four game win streak here. To be able to do that makes me feel great. Knowing that we are leaving Tennessee in a better place."
Said head coach Butch Jones-"Anytime you win, it makes it better. One coach told me when you win, the food is hotter, and the drinks are colder, and everything is better."
A win over Vandy would give the Vols their 8th victory of the season.
Said quarterback Josh Dobbs-"It would mean a lot to this program. My class has talked about getting Tennessee back on the map when we got here. That’s what we’ve been striving for everyday, and we’re working hard to get there."
Said Randolph-"We know Vandy is always a tough game. They have been our rival. They’re in the same state as us. We know they’re going to come with it."
  Kickoff is set for 4pm.
It might be easy to overlook Vandy and their 3-9 record, but you can’t overlook their defense.
Said Jones-"They have very, very good team speed. They play with great effort. They have a tenacity about themselves and a relentlessness. I believe they made Texas A&M kick six field goals Saturday night."
Footing for field goals might be tricky at Neyland Stadium, given the turf issues this year.
Jones-"In terms of the field, we’re anticipating the field is going to be there, and we’re going to play on it on Saturday."
